(Stripe T-shirt, Coat, Overalls, sunglasses - ZARA, Shoes - Adidas)
Who else wants to declare their loves for stripes? I have always been drawn to them - the first thing in a store that always catches my eye is the black and white swathe which for me is my own way of playing with 'colour' when adding it to my wardrobe . As I love incorporating black in my daily outfits, I find my pop of colour and statement pieces with these small touches - which in this ensemble are the stripes and metallic retro sunglasses. Sure these glasses are not something I would wear everyday, yet change is good and it compliments this outfit in a different way and gives it an edgier look which is what I wanted to go for - even if the sun is not strong enough, I just like to have them on my head or hanging off my top to still give that something extra.
Following my Instagram account, I returned back to Paris for a long weekend and wore this outfit when I had a day of strolling the parisian streets, I always feel so good when I return and I wanted to mirror how I looked on the outside with how I felt on the inside yet, still being comfortable enough in the process to allow me to take in all my surroundings without complaining of blisters (we've all been there). As I had mentioned in my previous blogpost, it's a little trickier to pack a limit amount of clothes and getting an outfit which is fashionable yet comfortable at the same time. These overalls are perfect because they take up little space and act as a 2in1 for top and bottom. I decided to wear my Stan Smith trainers to go with this look although it was mainly out of comfort, I love this urban chic look that it gave. These shoes are a staple in my wardrobe and go with so many different outfits which is a key item when travelling.

The weather is slightly better recently - although it is still chilly (& windy) in France as well as in London, wearing my overalls and trainers seemed doable however, a jacket was still necessary. I decided to pair this look with my grey long jacket which kept me warm and was easy for me to remove or keep on if I needed to without substituting my style.
